Meeting Minutes January 11, 2022

January 11, 2022

Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Kerry Tetzner, Sandy Raspotnik, Jim Park, Scottie Sandstrom, Mike Harvey, Lynn Adams, Joe Amrein, Ron Rechel, Kathleen Russell, Bob Adams, Emmer Shields, Brenda Rechel, Jay Glase, Cindy Glase, Roy Settgas, Wendy Stein, Lorraine Norrgard, Dennis Wiebel, Lynn Krueger, Randy Snippen, John Wheeler, and Kim Bro.

Meeting notices were posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.

Meeting minutes from the December 14, 2021, were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Lynn Adams gave Treasurer Report. All books are balanced. The Clerks and Treasurer’s computers are mirrored. Web site work is in progress. Property Taxes have been coming in and everything is up to date. Motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Mike Harvey gave the crew report. To replace all ATV and Snowmobile signs would run around $400.00. A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to buy two tires for Joe’s plow truck. Motion carried. All Ayes. All things are going fine. A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to approve report. Motion Carried. All Ayes.

Sandy spoke on FR 429 and FR 445. Part of FR 429 is closed, and FR 445 is being used. This is a work in progress.

There was no Plan Commission meeting this month.

Emmer Shields spoke on putting the bid out for South Maple Road. It will be done in two parts. The west end will be on one bid. The second bid will be on top of the hill going east. The bid will be going out March or April, a class 2 notice, in the paper twice. A motion by Sandy Raspotnik and a second by Jim Park to provide $300.00 for a storm water permit. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Sandy Raspotnik and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to have Brian Olby remove the trees on South Maple Hill. Motion carried. All Ayes.

The job description for the Town Crew is in progress.

The policies, procedures and ordinances are a work in progress.

Lynn Adams is working on the Web site and the TV and stand is in at Omer Nelson’s.

A motion by Sandy Raspotnik and a second by Jim Park to pay all current bills. Motion carried. All Ayes.
