Dec. 16, 1976
Special meeting with Schwenzfeler, Flonnes, Michalik and Tetzner present. Checked over all Nekoosa 40’s to determine which would be better suited to building homes than remain in forest. Thought was to keep at least a few 40’s out of Forest Crop. As it turned out we wasted our time as hearing was cut and dried.

The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Chairman Schwenzfeier with Flonnes, Michalik and Tetzner present. Leland Harvey was also present. Minutes of Nov. 4 1076 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Ila Bromberg appeared before the Board, concerning Nekoosa Edwards plan to place their town owned 40’s in Forest Crop.
Discussed Tax Levy from County concerning $461.00 charged back in delinquent Personal Property Tax. Motion and second to pay delinquent personal property tax out of surplus funds and contact our lawyer.
Motion and second to pay all current town bills.
Motion and second to approve Treasurer’s Bond in amount of $6894.41.
Motion and second to have meeting on Dec. 16, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss procedures in Forest Crop Hearings.

The meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Chairman Schwenzfeier with Flonnes, Michalik and Tetzner present. Leland Harvey was also present. Minutes of October 7, 1976 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Road salt was discussed.
Nekoosa Edwards placing 40’s in forest crop was also discussed.
Motion and second to write letter to DNR asking for hearing and to set a date.
Motion and second to pay all current town bills.

Meeting called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Chairman Schwenzfeier with Flonnes, Michalik and Tetzner present. Minutes of September 9, 1976 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Hauling road gravel and road salt was discussed. Also snowplowing for coming winter.
Motion and second to pay all current town bills.
Motion and second to purchase 1000 warning decals and 1000 code decals for Highway signs.
Motion and second to grant Kenneth Carlson permission to build a residence on the SW – NE Sec. 34-49-5.

Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m. with Flonnes, Michalik, Schwenzfeier and Tetzner present. Leland Harvey was also present. Minutes of August 5, 1976 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Wimpy Woiak appeared in regards to stones and stumps placed on his land when the Landfill Road was built. Motion and second that town would start to remove stumps and stones in 10 days.
Motion and second that the Town of Washburn adopt an ordinance naming all town roads and list them on town mileage plot.
Motion and second to pay all current town bills.

Meeting called to order at 7:45 p.m. with Flonnes, Michalik, Schwenzfeier and Tetzner present. Leland Harvey also present. Minutes of July 1, 1976 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Motion and second to grant James Musso permission to build a house on the S½, NW¼, SW¼ Sec. 27-49-5.
Discussed roof repairs on garage.
Received three bids on tractor tires. Leland Harvey with $15.00, Ron Nye with $13.00 and Warren Anderson with $76.00. They were sold to Warren Anderson.

The adjourned Board of Review met at 7:00 p.m. July 27, 1976 at the Town Hall with Schwenzfeier, Flonnes, Michalik, Tetzner and Rowe present. Assessment roll was looked at and discussed. No one appeared. Meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m.

The Board of Review met at 10:00 a.m. with Schwenzfeier, Flonnes, Michalik and Tetzner present. Having word from assessor that assessment roll was not finished the meeting was adjourned until Tuesday July 27, 1976 at 7:00 p.m.

Motion and second to help Harold Peterson with blacktop in his driveway, but not to exceed $500.00. Harold Peterson appeared requesting this help.
John Zurian, Moquah, Paul Prilla Delta and Lawrence Guski, Washburn started working in the town on Mon. June 21 , 1976 under the Green Thumb program. This is a Federal funded program with town furnishing materials and supervision. Les Miller of Route l, Spooner is coordinator. Phone number- 715-635-3039.
David Cook and Charlie Guski representing Dalcon Construction were present.

Meeting called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Chairman Calvin Schwenzfeier with Flonmes, Michalik and Tetzner present. Leland Harvey also present. Minutes of May 6, 1976 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Signe Sauve, owner of C-Side Inn, appeared per cigarette and Class “B” combination Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverage license. Motion and second to grant license at $125.00 per year and cigarette license at $5.00 per year.
Motion and second to write Bayfield Electric Coop. and L.S.D.P explaining town policy concerning roadside spraying.
Dave Cook and Charlie Guski appeared for Dalcon Const. concerning use of Wannebo pit. Motion made and second to limit usage of sand and gravel in pit to Town of Washburn residents.
Discussed the placing of Town 40’s in Forest Crop.
Motion and second to grant Don Vlasity permission to build house of the SW ¼ of the SE ¼ Sec. 5-48-5.
Motion and second to pay all current town bills.
