Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Mike Havey, Gilbert Schwartz, Joyce Zifko and Donna Chapman.
Meeting notices were properly posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.
Meeting minutes from the April 12, 2016 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes
Donna gave Treasurer’s report. All books are balanced. Snow plow bills are being paid, Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried. All Aye.
Mike Harvey gave crew report. A brake job and new muffler is needed on the dump truck. The brake job will be $500.00 to $1,000.00 and the muffler about $300.00. A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by Bruce Hokanson to fix the brakes and muffler for the dump truck. Motion carried. All Ayes. FR 428 will be fixed by the Forest Department. A new culvert is needed on Church Corner Road for a cost of $1600.00. A motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tezner to buy the culvert. Motion carried. All Ayes. A motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.
John Hartzell talk about a multiuse sign to be put up in the parking area of the Town Hall. John will check on pricing and erecting the sign.
Bruce will put a bid in the paper for gravel and crushed black top for Paulson Road and a stock pile by the town garage. 1300 tons of crushed black top, 2200 tons of gravel, 600 tons of 2” minus rock and 144 tons of 2 x 4 fracture.
A motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to have Landscape Creation cut the lawn by the Town Hall this summer. Motion carried. All Ayes.
A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to buy three chairs for the Town Hall for $74.99 each. Motion carried. All Ayes.
Gilbert Schwartz asked about buying gravel off the bid for the Town price. He would have to deal with whoever gets the bid.
Joyce Zifko asked the Town to save some virgin white pines on FR695. It was decided to save them.
Garbage Dump Day is May 21, 2016.
