OCTOBER 9, 2007

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morey, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Philip E. Tetzner and Donna Chapman. Also Mike Harvey, Etta Teschner, Kurt Kiehne, Nancy Hanson and Ron Michael.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of September 11, 2007 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurers report. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Mike Harvey gave Crew report. Gravel needed on some Barren roads, equipment tires, and charges for snowplowing long driveways. Attended two seminars, one on chainsaw safety and one on road salt applications. Motion by Mark Morey and a second by John Hartzell to accept Mike Harvey’s report. Motion carried.

Etta Teschner appeared concerning building a new home on SE NE Sec 33-49-5. Motion by Kery Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to approve Etta Teschner’s request to build a new home on this property. Motion carried. All aye votes.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to approve five-year fire and ambulance contract with City of Washburn. Copy on file.

Reviewed budget for 2008. Budget hearing November 13, 2007.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
