Budget Hearing called to order at 6:30 P.M. Present Mark Morey, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Philip Tetzner, Donna Chapman, Mike Harvey, Kurt and Marie Kiehne, Cathy Morey and Joe Scholl.
Budgets were presented by the Clerk and reviewed. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to adjourn Budget Hearing. Motion carried.
Meeting of Electors called to order at 6:45 P.M. same people present.
Meeting notices were timely published in the Daily Press and posted in three public places in the Town.
Motion by Cathy Morey and a second by Mark Morey to approve a Town levy of $46,806.00 a legal allowable increase. Motion carried. All aye votes.
Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to adjourn Elector Meeting at 7:00 P.M. Motion carried. All aye votes.
Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morey, John Hartzell, Kerry Tetzner, Philip Tetzner, Donna Chapman, Mike Harvey, Kurt and Marie Kiehne, Cathy Morey, and Joe Scholl.
Meeting notices were properly Posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.
Minutes of October 9, 2007 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept minutes. Motion carried. All aye votes.
Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Need to check checking account figures. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept. Motion carried.
Mike Harvey gave Crew report. Driveway culverts, who pays for replacements? Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept report.
Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to adopt Highway budget of $310,000.00 and General fund budget of $72,000.00. Motion carried. All aye votes.
John Anderson, Bayfield County judge and Kay Cedarburg, Bayfield County Clerk of Courts appeared at 8:00 P.M. Purpose to inform public of escalating jail populations and some tried remedies.
Reviewed road projects for next year. Employee safety equipment and clothing.
Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.
Motion and a second to adjourn.
