Meeting Minutes March 9, 2004

MARCH 9, 2004

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morey, Kerry Tetzner, Tom Cogger, Phil Tetzner, Donna Chapman, and Gary Maki. Also Ron Michael, John Hartzell, Kathleen Russell, Wendy Stein, and Phil Freeman.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of February 10, 2004 were read and written copies given to Board Members.  Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report, Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept report. Motion carried. Discussed dog licenses.

Gary gave crew report. Computer problems on the grader, steaming culverts, and possible sand hauling from Brevak pit and Faulkner pit for Washburn Sewer project. Reported on barricades costs for roads under construction at a cost of about $12.00. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to purchase these signs. Motion carried. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to let the purchase for about 4000 yards of #2 gravel on bids. Motion carried. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to accept Gary’s report. Motion carried.

Discussed Town Comprehensive Planning Law. Will have more discussion and citizen input at annual meeting.

Reviewed ATV ordinance that was adopted in February 2003 for a one-year trial term. Tom Cogger made motion to renew ordinance for one year and post 10 mph speed limit signs on South Maple Hill. Motion seconded by Kerry Tetzner. Motion carried. All aye votes.

Received application from Town of Washburn to continue the operation of Wannebo Sand Pit. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to approve. Motion carried.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
