MARCH 11, 2008

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morcy, Kerry Tetzner, Philip E. Tetzner, Donna Chapman and John Hartzell. Also Mike Harvey, Kurt Kiehne, Bruce Hokanson, Jim & Mary Skerik, Sandy Raspotnik, Ruth Hartzell, Cathy Morey, Joe Scholl, Ron Michael, Ted May, Michelle Tutor, Hal Liphart, and Marieke van Donkersgoed-Kiehne.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of February 12, 2008 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurers report. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept.  Motion carried.

Mike Harvey and Kurt Kiehne gave Crew report. Will have enough salt, Remodeling shop office going good and equipment all okay. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept. Motion carried. All aye votes.

Sandy Raspotnik, Ted May, Jim and Mary Skerik presented information on the Washburn School District referendum asking to exceed the levy limit up to $900,000.00 recurring. They spoke in favor of voting yes, explaining that taxes probably will go up anyway, but going to a different school district. Their theory, it is better to keep our own school.

Reviewed driveway ordinance. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to table until next month. Motion carried.

Motion by Mark Morey and a second by John Hartzell to set up a Town Web site. Cost of about $500.00. Would get help from Frank Stone. Motion carried,

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.
