Meeting Minutes June 8, 2004

JUNE 8, 2004

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Kerry Tetzner, Mark Morey, Phil Tetzner, Donna Chapman, and Tom Cogger. Also Gary Maki, Cathy Morey, John Hartzell, Shirley Haugen, Wendy Stein, Andy Okey, Dave Cook and Mark McGinley.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of May 11, 2004 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Tom Cogger to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave her report. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Gary Maki gave Crew report. Grading in barrens, work on Hovey Lane, culvert purchase, and warning sign on end of Ondossagon. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to accept Crew report. Motion carried.

Motion by Mark Morey and a second by Kerry Tetzner to approve Michael and Gena Sanders request to build a home in NE SW Sec 21-49-5. Motion carried. Three aye votes.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to approve Gary Maki’s request to build a home in SE SE Sec 27-49-5, lying East of County C. Motion carried. Three aye votes.

Discussed forming a long term planning committee. Tom Cogger will draft letter to get started.

Discussed emergency guidelines.

Discussed Haul road policy. Chairman will draft simple policy.

Reviewed planning for Salt Shed. Mark McGinley and Andy Okey had some concerns. Motion by Mark Morey and a second by Kerry Tetzner to have site surveyed. Motion carried.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Tom Cogger to approve granting a combination Class B liquor license to Signa Groves of C-Side Inn with no increase in fees. Motion carried. 3 aye votes.

Wendy Stein reported on Leafy Spurge update.

Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to give old record shed to Phil Tetzner. Motion carried.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town Bills.

Mark Morey read correspondence, Lakes Conference, Big Top.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
