JUNE 10, 2008

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morey, John Hartzell, Kerry Tetzner, and Philip Tetzner. Also Kurt Kiehne, Frank Stone, Donna Chapman, and Joe Scholl.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of May 13, 2008 were read and written copies given to Board members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept as read. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Kurt Kiehne gave Crew report. Gravel is gong well, some trouble with roller. Reviewed blacktop patching needs and reviewed budget. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept report. Motion carried.

Frank Stone updated progress on Town of Washburn website. The Town drafted an agreement with Frank Stone that he will create and maintain a website for the Town of Washburn for a fee of $500.00 yearly. Copy on file.

Discussed City of Washburn proposal to store sludge from City Waste Treatment plant in Wannebo Pit in Sec 1-48-5. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to deny City access to Town land for sludge storage. Motion carried, all aye votes.

Motion by Mark Morey and a second by Kerry Tetzner to approve Signa Groves request for a combination Class B liquor license for C-Side Inn at same rate. Motion carried, all aye votes.

Motion by Mark Morey and a second by Kerry Tetzner to approve request from Nate Rudolph to build a house in SWNE Sec 33-49-5. Motion carried, all aye votes.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.

Motion and a second to pay John Hartzell $11.00 per hour for roller operator.

Motion and a second to approve propane contract with Midland for $1.99 per gallon for a total cost of $6965.00. Motion carried.
