Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Donna Chapman, Mike Harvey, Pat Guske, John Johanning and Carolyn Ridgway.
Meeting notices were properly posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.
Meeting minutes from the June 10, 2014 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes.
Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Everything is balanced. Motion by Bruce Hokanson and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.
A motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to purchase 3500 gallons of propane on contract from Midland for $5880.00 @ $1.68 a gallon. Motion carried. All Ayes.
Mike Harvey gave crew report. Work on Colberg Road is completed. Gravel and crushed black top is done. Not all the gravel that was purchased last month has been delivered yet. It was decided to use cold mix on some of the wedging spots on Ondossagon Road and McKinley Road due to the spots are too thin to do. Mike will use his tractor to spread the cold mix. Mike replaced the Town cell phone for $158.25 after the former cell phone was smashed. The Board approved to pay for the new phone. A motion by John Hartzell and second by Steven Tetzner to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.
There was a Plan Commission meeting on July 2, 2014. They recommended approving a driveway permit for Gerald Peterson at 27620 Paulson Road. The Town Board approved the driveway permit.
A special use permit for Gerald Peterson for parking a RV trailer at 27620 Paulson Road, SW ¼, of SW ¼, Section 33, Township 49N, Range 5W, was approved by the Board.
John Johanning spoke on a fireworks permit issued to a neighbor and would like to have been notified of this before the event.
More attention to proper signing of work projects was discussed and will be done in the future.
A motion to pay all current bills.
