Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Kerry Tetzner, Sandy Raspotnik, Jim Park, Scottie Sandstrom, Lynn Adams, Joe Amrein, Kathleen Russell, Ron Rechel, Kim Bro, Tony Williams and Wendy Stein.

Meeting notices were posted in the two public places, website, and published in the Daily Press.

Tony Williams talked on running for Bayfield County Sheriff.

Meeting minutes from the June 14, 2022, were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Lynn Adams gave Treasurer Report. All books are balanced. The Clerks and Treasurer’s computers are mirrored. Web site work is in progress. Motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Joe Amrein gave crew report. A culvert replaced on FR 697. There was a blowout of a cylinder on the backhoe. Mowing ditches is continuing. The reclaimer is coming soon. A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to approve a driveway permit for Kristen Matson at 74750 Strecker Road. Motion Carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to approve a Class A building permit for Kristen Matson at 74750 Strecker Road. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to approve a Class A building permit for Travis Dugger at the NE ¼ NW ¼ Section 9 Township 48N Range 5. See attached letter to zoning with five conditions. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to approve $7500.00 for updating the comprehensive plan. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and second by Jim Park to hire Buz Raspotnik to mow the land fill for $400.00. Motion carried. 2 Ayes, 1 Abstained, (Sandy).

South Maple Hill gravel bids were opened.

South Shore Sand and Gravel 1300 yards $38,129.00

Bob Olson 1260 tons $27,090.00

A motion by Sandy Raspotnik and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to approve the bid from Bob Olson for $27,090.00. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Sandy and Mike will put out two bids for South Maple Hill. One from Church Corner Road to Jay Glase’s driveway and one from Jay Glase’s driveway down past Randy Snippens property.

A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom not to pay Then’s damage to the gas line from snow plowing as the line was not marked. Motion carried. All Ayes.

The traffic counter and striping were tabled for next month.

Corrections on the WISLR road information is ongoing.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to have Dennis Miller shingle the Town Hall for $10,980.00 with Sandy checking on the chimney being removed because it is a historical building. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to have Swanson put on rain gutters for $435.00. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to have Mark Illick install electrical outlets in the Town Hall for around $700.00. Motion carried. All Ayes.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to have Keith Fleig paint the Town Hall and storage shed for $5,500.00. Mike will replace the siding that is damaged. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Sandy and Mike will put out bids for FR 500.

Landscape Creations will continue to mow the lawn.

Lynn will check into a computer for the Town Garage up to $1000.00.

A motion by Sandy Raspotnik and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to pay all current bills. Motion carried. All Ayes.

The next Town Board meeting will held August 10, 2022.
