JANUARY 8, 2008

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morey, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Philip Tetzner, and Donna Chapman. Also Mike Harvey, Ruth Hartzell, Cathy Morey, and Kurt Kiehne.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of December 10, 2007 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Lot of tax collections so far. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Mike Harvey and Kurt Kiehne gave crew report. Condition of grader and loader. Age and wear. Also steamer. Motion by Mark Morey and a second by John Hartzell to purchase new steamer. About $7,000.00. Preferable propane. Motion carried. All aye votes. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept crew report. Motion carried.

Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to appoint Kurt Kiehne and Mike Harvey as joint road superintendents effective January 1, 2008, Motion carried. All aye votes.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to buy a laptop computer with peripheral equipment for use by Town highway crew with cap of $3,000.00 Motion carried. All aye yotes.

Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to purchase enzyme to use on test plot 6/10 of mile on old “C”. About $3,000.00 cost. Motion carried. All aye votes.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.
