JANUARY 4, 1994

Regular meeting called to order at 8:10 P.M. Present Faulkner, Mihalek, Tetzner, Chapman, and Retzloff. Also Steve Bade, Robert Short, Dave Slusser, Bob & Monique Mattson, Joe Scholl Jr., Charles Groves, Mark Hudson, Bob Adams and Leland Harvey.

Minutes of December 7, 1993 written copies were given to Board Members. Motion by Mihalek and a second by Faulkner to accept. Motion carried.

Meeting was legally noticed in the Daily Press and meeting notices were posted in three public places in the Town.

Motion by Faulkner and a second by Mihalek to cash a $26,756.00 C.D. dated December 26, 1993 and put money in money market fund. Motion carried.

Motion by Faulkner and a second by Mihalek to grant a change in zoning and grant a permit to William O. Kaufmann to build a residence in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 of Sec 12-48-5.  Motion carried .

Motion by Mihalek and a second by Faulkner to install blower vent in oil storage room. Motion carried.

Discussed snowmobile accident on South Maple Hill Drive. Heard comments from people present on what to do about speeding snowmobiles.  Two suggestions: Closing off South & West Maple Hill Drive (2 miles) or plastic snow fencing West end of landfill road, closing it off  completely.

Motion by Mihalek and a second by Faulkner to amend Snowmobile Ordinance #1992-02 closing South Maple Hill Drive and West Maple Hill Drive to snowmobiles (2 miles). Motion carried.

Also a motion and a second to place 3 way stop signs at Roy’s Corner on Maple Hill Drive. Motion carried.

Steve Bade appeared concerning access to his “40” NE-NW Sec 29-49-5. No action taken.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills. Motion carried.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
