Meeting Minutes February 5, 1987

February 5, 1987

Meeting called to order at 7:35 P.M. Present were, Pajala, Casey, Slusser, Tetzner and Badura. Minutes of December 30, 1986 were read. There being no additions or corrections, they were accepted as read.

Bob Adams and Liz Sockness were also present. Liz Sockness talked of snowmobiles going too fast and not on the side of the road trail. She had numbers and speeds.

Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to make donation to 4-H Club for picking up cans along town roads. Motion carried.

Discussed ATV ordinance. Jeff Casey reported no progress to date on a new trail. Motion by Badura to extend present ATV ordinance one month.  No second. Motion by Casey to extend present temporary ordinance until a permanent one is adopted, a second by Pajala. Motion carried.

Discussed road sign on Hove Lane which is missing. Glen Cook has put up a new advertising sign and changed the name of the road on it. Received letter from Eunice Schwenzfeier protesting this change. First thing will be for chairman Pajala to talk to Glen Cook and explain that his sign appears to be in violation.

Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to accept. Eileen Haugen, John Iverson, Liz Sockness, Judy Kluge, Debbie Casey, Gerry Powers, and Harry Chapman appointed by Ed Pajala as election workers for a two year term. Motion carried.

Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to approve Bonnie Compton’s application for a operators license at C-Side Inn. Motion carried. Five Dollar Fee.

Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
