Meeting Minutes February 10, 2015

February 10, 2015

Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Mike Havey, Pat Guske, Joyce Zifko, Michelle Davalos,  Phil Freeman, Jed Ungrodt, and Donna Chapman.

Meeting notices were properly posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.

Meeting minutes from the January 13, 2015 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Property taxes all done and everything is going fine. Motion by Bruce Hokanson and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

There was no plan Commission meeting this month.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to have a new radio installed in the new plow truck for $1490.00 and to buy a grinder for the shop for $109.00. Motion carried. All Ayes. There are signs in the Forestry that are peeling again that need to be replaced. Mike will check with the Company that we got them from to see what can be done. Mike will also check with other vendors on cost. The Graders solenoid was replaced. Hopefully this will fixed the problem. Jeff Pipgras is fixing the heater in the Town garage. A motion by John Hartzell and a second by Bruce Hokanson to approve the road crews report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

There was further discussion on the cutting of timber on the Forest Roads. There were two options. First, the Town Purchase the timber and bid out the sale, and two, the Forestry bid out the timber sale. It was decided to table the matter until further information was available.

Some projects for this summer included replacing a culvert on Wannebo Road and a few other culverts in the Town. Some wedging to do on Nevers Road and on Wannebo going up to Long Lake. Also needed is gravel and crushed black top.

A motion and a second to pay all current bills.
