FEBRUARY 10, 2004

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Phil Tetzner, Mark Morey, Kerry Tetzner, Donna Chapman and Tom Cogger. Also Gary Maki, Cathy Morey, Tim Kane and Bob Brander.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of January 13, 2004 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Donna Chapman gave Treasurer’s report. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey accept. Motion carried.

Gary Maki gave crew report. Lots of snowplowing, Also a lot of forestry roads. No major breakdowns. Everything going good. A need for Construction signs. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to buy some signs. Motion carried. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Tom Cogger to accept report. Motion carried.

Tim Kane reported on Wisconsin’s Comprehensive Planning Law to be in effect by January 1, 2010. He handed out several documents pertaining to this law and its implementation and also spoke on what other Towns are doing.

Mark Morey reported on Uniform Dwelling Code that was signed by the Governor December 8, 2003 and then became effective. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to not take action and let the State provide enforcement of this UDC Code. 3 ayes and no nays. Motion carried.

Reported on National Forest Proposal for Dead Oak Trees.

Discussed Reclamation Plan for Wannebo Sand Pit. Board formulated plan and will present it to Bayfield County Zoning with $360.00 fee.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.
