Meeting Minutes April 9, 2008

APRIL 9, 2008

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Mark Morey,  John Hartzell, Kerry Tetzner, Philip E. Tetzner and Donna Chapman. Also Mike Harvey, Kurt Kiehne, Ruth Hartzell, Richard Mihalek, Frank Stone, Wendy Stein, Tim Schwenzfeier, Steven Tetzner and Sarah Rechcygl.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of March 11, 2008 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurers report. Motion by John Hartzell and second by Kerry Tetzner to accept. Motion carried.

Town Crew report given by Mike Harvey and Kurt Kiehne. Reviewed patch blacktop and budget estimates. Black top costs of $70.00 to $95.00 Per ton estimate. Reviewed 2008 projects. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Kery Tetzner to accept report.

Reviewed application of. Jeffrey Forsberg to build a home on a parcel in Sec 36-49-5. East 330′ NES W and West 330′ NWSE. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to approve request with final approval of Planning Commission. Motion carried. All aye votes.

Received request from Steve Tetzner to build home in the 5 ½  SWSW Sec 2-48-5 Motion by John Hartzell and second by Mark Morey to grant request. Motion carried with all aye votes.

Met with Frank Stone who is helping Town of Washburn set up a Web Site. He will help the Town for a fee of $500.00 payable quarterly $125.00.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and second by Mark Morey to approve revised Driveway Ordinance. Motion carried with all aye votes. Copy on file.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to approve agreement with Forest Service to let bid for gravel jointly to capitalize on volume discounts. Motion carried with all aye votes.

Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Mark Morey to let gravel bids. Bids to be in by May 13, 2008.

Road inspection will be April 22, 2008.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
