APRIL 7, 2004

Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. Present Phil Tetzner, Kerry Tetzner, Mark Morey, Tom Cogger, and Donna Chapman. Also Gary Maki, Cathy Morey, John Hartzell, Kurt Kiehne, Dick Mihalek, Karl Kastrosky, Jim Radke, and Kathleen Russell.

Meeting notices were properly posted in three public places in the Town and published in the Daily Press.

Minutes of March 9, 2004 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Tom Cogger to accept. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurer’s Report. She again reported on dog licenses. Motion by Kerry Tetzner and a second by Tom Cogger to accept. Motion carried.

Gary gave crew report. Received barricades, repaired computer on grader, and grading Town roads. Discussed sand hauling on McKinley Road. Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to approve report. Motion carried.

Karl Kastrosky, zoning administrator, spoke on Town and County Land Use Planning.

Jim Radke, Director of Bayfield County Economic Development, spoke on his program, which is to improve existing businesses and attract new businesses.

Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to adopt Joint Powers Agreement with Bayfield County 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System. Motion carried. Three ayes.

Opened gravel bids: Ashland Construction – $11.43 per yard, Angelo Lupino – $11.50 per yard. Bob Root – $14.90 per yard, and C & W. – $11.52 per yard. Motion by Mark Morey and a second by Kerry Tetzner to accept Ashland Construction bid for $11.43 per yard. Motion carried.

Motion by Tom Cogger and a second by Kerry Tetzner to award land surveying of Wannebo Pit to T J H Land Surveying at a cost of about $400.00. Motion carried.

Motion by Mark Morey and a second by Tom Cogger to pay all current Town bills. Motion carried.
