Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Donna Chapman and Mike Harvey.

Meeting notices were properly posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.

Meeting minutes from the November 8, 2010 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept as presented. Motion carried. All ayes.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. All snow plow bills paid. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept report. Motion carried All ayes.

Kerry gave Clerk’s report. Mary Beth Tillmans will be contacted to help set up the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System. She will also be asked to get the Clerk’s and Treasurer’s computers on the same program year,2011. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Bruce Hokanson to accept report. Motion carried. All ayes.

Mike gave crew report. All roads in good condition after the snowstorm. There was a discussion on replacing the passenger door on the Plow Truck with Lexan sheeting so the driver is able to see the snow plow better. Bruce will check with Rural Insurance to see if this is legal and safe. The cost should be around $500.00. A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept crew report. Motion carried. All ayes.

A motion by Bruce Hokanson and a second by Steven Tetzner to place Lexon sheeting on the passenger door if it is okay with Rural Insurance. Motion carried. All ayes.

Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Donna Chapman and Mike Harvey.

Meeting minutes from the September 14, 2010 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by Bruce Hokanson to accept as presented. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. They have been working on the Forest Roads in the Barrens. All black top roads have been patched. The chip sealing projects have turned out well. The snow plow truck wing blade has been mounted. The sand screening is done with enough sand for five years. Eighty seven  tons of salt was hauled from County at $58.00 a ton. The Forestry needs another $5000.00 in rock for the roads. Mike will order this. Mike will also work on the paper work for the traffic signs for the Forestry Roads. Mike will check on prices for new handles for the gas pumps.

It was decided to send a thank you note and a fifty dollar check to Chuck Groves for the new bulletin board for posting Town Meetings.

Northwoods paving said to toss the bill for $626.49 for the black top at the intersection of Ondossagon and Engoe Roads, as this was part of the bid for wedging roads earlier.

Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by Bruce Hokanson to adopt the Town of Washburn Computer Use Policy. Motion carried.

Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Donna Chapman, Mike Harvey, Duwayne Bronson and Michelle McCumber.

Meeting minutes from the August 10, 2010 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Bruce Hokanson to accept as presented. Motion carried.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. Wannebo Road cave in is finished. Pat has been mowing. The Snowmobile Alliance will put in a culvert in on Gasperini Road for their snow mobile trail. Fahrner is crack sealing on the designated roads. C & W will be screening sand in the next couple of weeks for the road salt sand. Mike will check into prices of having the wing mount mounted on the snow plow truck. Mike will order culverts, 60’ x 16”, 60’ x 18”, 60’ x 20”, to have on hand for a price around $4000.00. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Bruce Hokanson to accept report. Motion carried.

Class A permit at SE ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 21, Township 49N Range 5 for Duwayne Bronson to put in a mobile home at 78165 Church Corner Road. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept the Class A permit for the above with the condition that two, 2’ by 67’ footings with 1/2” rebar @ 8” be put in for trailer to sit on. Motion carried.

Michelle McCumber talked on a computer policy to protect the Employee and the Company. Motion to table for next months meeting so everyone could read the policy.

Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Donna Chapman, Mike Harvey and Michelle McCumber.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. The wedging is done on the Ondossagon Road and the Wannebo Road. The crew hauled 8,000 yards from Paulson Road to Wannebo Road to fill cave in on curve. They are working on 694 repairing road. The Forestry will give the Town a 4 wheel trailer with a 2000 gallon tank. Mike has to pick it up. Pat’s been mowing ditches. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Michell McCumber  talked on the contract with the town for the Web site. Motion by Steven Tetzaner and a second by Bruce Hokanson to accept contract for the Web site for one year. We will pay for the Web site in a yearly bill. Motion carried.

Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept the Town of Barksdale joining the City of Washburn, Town of Washburn and the Town of Bayview on the Fire and Ambulance sevice provided by the City of Washburn. Motion carried.

Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept bid from Scott Construction for Double Sealcoating of Engoe Road 2.045 miles x 20 F.T. wide. Price includes 5 intersections 15 x 20 and compacating of base. Town to final shape, for $63,127.00.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. We received more money for Forest Road signs. Mike ordered some. Problems on Wannebo Road. Road is caving in to due rotting tree stumps. It was decided to haul fill in from ditching on Paulson Road. Culverts were changed on Church Corner Road and Wannebo Road. Mike will purchase 150 gallons of Hydraulic oil. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept report. Motion carried.

Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept driveway permit from Jamie Hudak. Motion carried.

A motion from John Hartzell and a second from Steven Tetzner to do wedging on the Ondossagon and Wannebo Roads on a quote from Northwoods paving for $24,833.64. Motion carried.

Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzel to accept quote from  Scott Construction Inc. to do chip sealing on one mile on the Ondossagon Road for $14,485.00. Motion carried.

Motion by Bruce Hokanson and a second by John Hartzel to accept quote from Scott Construction Inc. to do chip sealing on one mile on the Wannebo Road for $14,485.00. Motion carried

Mike Harvey gave crew report. Gravel is needed on Engoe Road from Brevak Road to Strecker Road to finish TRIP program.  Grading is being done on 251 and 252. Everything else is going fine. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Discussion on gravel for the Engoe Road TRIP project. Scott Construction Inc. said we need about 1000 tons of gravel on Engoe Road from Brevak Road to Strecker Road so we can double chip seal this mile with the remaining money from the TRIP Program. Bob Root’s price on this gravel is $10.75 for 1000 tons delivered and spread at 4 inches in a few spots. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by Bruce Hokankson to spread 1000 tons of gravel on Engoe Road. Motion carried.

Regular Board Meeting Called to order at 7:00 P.M..Present Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner Donna Chapman, Mike Harvey, Dale Brevak Derek Brevak, Larry Budura and Jason Pearson.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. Pat Guske passed his CDL test and received his license. Bob Root brought a load of gravel for inspection. The crew has been grading roads in the Barrens. A new tire was put on the front end laoder. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried.

Derek Brevak spoke on getting a renewal for his gravel pit a at the SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 Section 35 Town ship 49N Range 5W. The Plan Commission visited the site and approved licensing the pit. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to approve the sand gravel pit license. Motion carried.

Bids were opened for double chip sealing for one mile on Engoe Road. Fahrner Aspalt bld: $49,620.20. Scott Construction Inc. bid: $32,379.00. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by Bruce Hokanson to accept bid from Scott Construction Inc. for $32,379.00. Motion carried.

Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to do approximately seven miles of crack sealing on various roads from a quote from Fahrner Asphalt for $8,250.00. Motion carried.

Discussion to purchase gravel from Bob Root to be delivered to the Town Garage. Motion by Steven Tetzner and second by John Hartzell to purchase 1000 tons of gravel from Bob Root to be dellvered to Town Garage. Motion carried.

Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to purchase $7500.00 of gravel and 4 x 1 rock for Forestry from Bob Root Motion carried.

Tabled Resolution for UTV until there is an update on more information.
