Special Budget Hearing and Federal Revenue Sharing Fund Use Hearing Meeting
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M with Schwenzfeier, Ekholm, Grupstra, Tetzner and Jacobson present.
Motion made and a second to use $1500.00 for new pumps at garage from Federal Revenue Sharing.
Motion made and a second to approve a budget of $93,025.00 in the Highway Fund for 1981.
Motion made and a second to approve a budget of $16,400.00 in the general Fund for 1981.
Regular meeting called to order at 9:00 P.M. Minutes of November 5, 1980 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
Leland Harvey also present.
Motion and second to set town caucus for January 24, 1981 at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday.
Motion and second to pay town Levy of $680.03 out of tax fund.
Motion and second to put fence costs of $84.32 on Pete Andrus tax bill as special charge. S½NESW16-48-5.
Motion and a second to have Board of Audit on tuesday January 13, 1981 at 10:00 A.M. Next town meeting on January 8 1981 at 7:30 P.M.
Motion and a second to put 24″ culvert bought by David Cook in September 1976 for $274.04 and installed on this property (SWNW 26-49-5) on tax roll as special charge. Subject to check by town board.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Schwenzfeier with Ekholm, Grupstra, Tetzner, and Jacobson present. Minutes of October 2, 1980 were read and there being no additions or corrections were accepted as read.
C.M.W. picked up damaged door 11-5-80. Bill of Lading on file. Discussed graveling on Hokanson Road. Also blacktopping on first 1/3 mile. Motion and a second to blacktop if weather and time permit.
Rece1ved Ambulance Contract from City of Washburn. Motion and a second to hold until annual meeting.
Motion and a second to buy salt and sand from County at $6.00 per yard plus hauling. About 100 yards.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Received new checks from First Bank of Apostle Islands. Motion and a second that old Highway checks #3474 through #3500 be Voided. Motion and second that 0ld General Fund checks #1578 through #1600 be Voided. Reason: Banks request.
Received request to check for old unused grasshopper poison. None in town that anyone knows of.
Motion and a second to charge $5.00 each tine for plowing at land fill.
Motion and second to apply to Bayfield County for in lieu of taxes on Federal Forest Lands.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Motion and a second to adopt ordinance relating to load limits on town roads. Ordinance on file in July 1980 folder.
Motion and a second to adopt resolution concerning Al Westlings’ dam on Four Mile Creek. Resolution on file in June 1980 folder.
Received damage to animal claim from Leland Harvey in amount of $100.00. Will file with County Clerk.
Motion and a second to put notice with gravel bills, that if not paid in thirty days, 1 1/2% interest per month will be added.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:45 P.M. BY CHAIRMAN SCHWENZFEIER WITH GRUPSTRA, EKHOLM, TETZNER, AND JACOBSON PRESENT. LELAND HARVEY ALSO PRESENT. MINUTES OF MAY 1, 1980 WERE READ AND THERE BEING NO ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS WERE ACCEPTED AS READ. AL AND ELIZABETH WESTLING APPEARED CONCERNING REBUILDING A DAM ON 4 MILE CREEK. REQUESTED TOWN BOARD ADOPT RESOLUTION FAVORING RESTORATION OF THAT DAM.
WILNER EKHOLM RECEIVED LETTER FROM WIS TOWN’S ASSC CONCERNING TOWN WORK ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. LETTER IS ON FILE IN JUNE 1980 FOLDER.
RECEIVED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE APPLICATION FROM C-SIDE ON MAY 27, 1980. ALSO CIGARETTE LICENSE APPLICATION. ALSO OPERATORS LICENSE APPLICATION FROM CHARLES D. GROVES & DONNA DAY.
RECEIVED COPY OF AMBULANCE CONTRACT WITH CITY OF WASHBURN AT $937.50 an 8% INCREASE. MOTION AND 2ND. TO ACCEPT THIS CONTRACT.
DISCUSSED FENCE PROBLEM BETWEEN MARION BREVAK & PETE ANDRUS.
MOTION & 2ND. TO RAISE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE TO C-SIDE TO $150. AND GRANT IT. MOTION & 2ND. TO GRANT OPERATORS LICENSE TO DONNA DAY AND CHARLES D. GROVES AT $5 EACH.

MINUTES OF APRIL 15 WERE READ AND THERE BEING NO ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS WERE ACCEPTED AS READ. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FIRST BANK OF APOSTLE ISLANDS AS TOWN DEPOSITY WAS PASSED. BIDS WERE RECEIVED ON C.B .RADIOS. LELAND HARVEY GOT THE BID FOR $23.60 EACH OR $70.80 FOR ALL THREE. JERRY JACK GOT THE BIDS FOR THE LOGS FOR $52. LELAND HARVEY WAS ALSO PRESENT. ED.PAJALA STOPPED IN AT 10:00 OCLOCK. NO QUESTIONS.
DISCUSSED PRICES OF GRADER BLADES FROM DIFFERENT COMPANY’S.
