February 10, 1983
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by chairman Ekholm. Present were Casey, Olson, Jacobson, and Tetzner. Minutes of January 13, 1983 were read and there being no additions or corrections were approved as read. Lester Westling was also present, concerning easements on the Four-Mile Creek Dam site. Motion and a second to send copies of the two easements to Short Eliott Engineers and Gene McDonald D.O.T. Copies on file.
Motion and a second to sign the project agreement for building a new bridge at Al Westlings on Four-Mile Creek in the estimated amount of $34,000.00 local funds. Copy on file. One half of this to be repaid by County.
Motion and a second that the truck was used to plow Reynold’s driveway on a special callout on a Sunday and to charge one hour rate or $25.00.
Reviewed Insurance plan from Laub Group. Motion and a second to get representative of Insurance Company up for meeting and discussion.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.
Discussed repairing Ford Tractor.
Motion and a second to adjourn.

Town of Washburn Caucus January 22, 1983

CAUCUS
Ila Bromberg and Darrel Olson reported on town concensus concerning a Historical Site Ordinance. A show of hands expressed being in favor.
Motion by Anselle Hokanson and a second by Steve Bade that Harvey Rowe be Caucus Chairman. Motion carried. \
Motion by Anselle Hokanson and a second by Shirley Haugen that Ila Bromberg be caucus clerk.
Harvey Rowe appointed Shirley Haugen and Larry Badura as Ballot Clerks.
Motion by Tetzner and a second by Anselle Hokanson to nominate by ballot. Motion carried.

Motion and a second that the top two, Wilner Ekholm and Ed Pajala be placed on ballot. Motion carried.

Motion and a second that top two, Casey and Adams be placed on ballot. Motion carried.

Second and third ballots were needed to break tie. Motion and a second that Darrel Olson and Larry Badura be placed on the ballot. Motion carried.

Motion and a second that two highest, Tetzner and Michalik be placed on ballot. Motion carried. Michalik later declined in writing so his name was not placed on the ballot.
TREASURER: Susan Jacobson was the only nomination; therefore, it was was moved and seconded that Susan Jacobson’s name be placed on ballot. Motion carried.
ASSESSOR: Philip Tetzner was the only nomination; therefore, it was moved and seconded that Philip Tetzner’s name be placed on ballot. Motion carried.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by chalrman Ekholm with Olson, Tetzner, Jacobson and Casey present.
Also present, Lester Westling and Ila Bromberg presenting preservation of historic sites concerning Four-Mile Creek Dam at Al Westlings.
Motion and a second to have Ila Bromberg present this at the town caucus January 22, 1983 to get public reaction.
Motion and a second to adopt bonding resolution for Treasurer required by Statute.
Motion and a second to have three member election board for the February 15, 1983 primary.
Received two bids on Wausau plow: Albert Zifko-$500.00 and Kevin Tetzner-$326.00.
Received one bid on grinder: Alonzo Harvey-$35.00.
Motion and a second to give bids to highest bidders.
Received Insurance coverage proposal from Laub Group. Reviewed proposal.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Board of Audit met at 10:00 A.M. Present were Ekholm, Tetzner, Casey, Olson and Jacobson. Balances in Clerk’s and Treasurer’s record books were found to check out with bank balances.
