Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Pat Guske, Dennis Weibel, Jerry Haugen, Rick Forsythe, Ron Rechel, Brenda Rechel and Donna Chapman.

Meeting notices were properly posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.

Meeting minutes from the February 14, 2017 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by StevenTetzner to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Donna gave Treasurer’s report. All books are balanced. Property taxes are paid. Motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Pat Guske gave crew report. The lights are fixed on the plow truck. New batteries were put in the front end loader. Everything is running smoothly. A motion by Bruce Hokanson and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Rick Forsythe from Chippewa Valley Bank talked on having the Town move the checking and savings accounts to their Bank. The check is in the mail for the Front End Loader.

A logging update on South Maple Hill. Buz Raspotnik paid $29,136.93 on all the logs that have been removed. A couple of piles of oak logs that are there belong to Buz for the $10,000.00 down payment he made at the beginning of the logging.

Bruce and John spoke on a meeting with the USDA Forest Center for help maintaining Forest Roads. The Town has a Duns number but now needs a Sams number. Bruce is checking into that. An application was filled out for gravel on 697 from Pajala Road to South Maple Hill Road for $25,000.00. The Town will have to pay about $18,000.00 with labor and gravel.

There was no Plan Commission this month.
