MAY 6, 1997

Regular meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. Present Mihalek, Wyzlik, Miller, Tetzner and Chapman, Also Ed Pajala, Leland Harvey, Rick Westling and Rita Benz.

Minutes of April 3, 1997 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by Wyzlik and a second by Mihalek to accept. Motion carried.

Donna Chapman presented Treasurer’s report. Motion by Mihalek and a second by Wyzlik to accept. Motion carried.

Meeting notices were properly posted in the Daily Press, and three public places in the Town.

Ed Pajala as Town resident asked the Board to give consideration to blacktopping his road when the Town does more blacktopping.

Discussed blacktop repairs for Nevers Road and McKinley Road. Culverts needed for Paulson Road and McKinley Road. Also clutch repairs needed on the truck. Will order culverts needed from PK Forest Farms.

Chairman Miller reported on scheduled meeting with Federal Forest officials on Federal Forest Roads.

Road weight limits are off.

Liquor License Clerk reported to Board that Signa Groves of C-Side Inn has applied for a Class B combination Liquor License.

Motion by Mihalek and a second by Wyzlik to grant Allen Westling a conditional use permit to build and sell furniture on his property. Motion carried.

Dick Mihalek reported on the Bay Area Solid Waste District.

Motion by Mihalek and a second by Wyzlik to table creating committee on land-use planning until next meeting. Motion carried.

Reviewed memorandum given to Town crew in November.

Discussed outside audit of Town books.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
