Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.. Present: Bruce Hokanson, Kerry Tetzner, John Hartzell, Steven Tetzner, Mike Harvey and Ron Rechel.

Meeting notices were properly posted in the three public places and published in the Daily Press.

Roll call was taken and Donna Chapman was absent.

Public comment took place.

Meeting minutes from the December 12, 2017 meeting were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Maintenance on the M-100 and voting machine will be on January 10, 2018. The bills from Midland, fuel oil, and from Chippewa Valley Bank for last payment on the one ton truck have not been received yet. The Clerk will pay them when received. The contracts for the Road Superintendent and Equipment Operator are ready to sign, and were. Steven John and Kerry will be going to the meeting at Lakewoods for training on the Board of Review on March 9, 2018. Motion by John Hartzell and a second by Steven Tetzner to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Donna was absent but all books are balanced per Clerk.

Mike Harvey gave crew report. The panel on the plow truck is installed. The tires on the grader have been rotated. A motion by John Hartzell and a second by Bruce Hokanson to buy two sets of plow shoes and two sets of jack assembly for the two plow trucks for around $1800.00. Motion carried. All Ayes. A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to accept report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Some projects for 2018 were discussed and was decided to have Mike make a list of projects.

A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by Bruce Hokanson to go into closed session to discuss a Board Member issue. Motion carried. All Ayes. The matter was settled. A motion by Steven Tetzner and a second by John Hartzell to leave closed session. Motion carried. All Ayes.
