JANUARY 7, 1988

Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. Furnace not working and cold. Present were, Pajala, Tetzner, Sorenson, Michalik and Slusser. Minutes of December 3, 1987 were read. Motion by Sorenson and a second by Michalik to accept as read. Usual comment by Pajala as appeared in September 1987 minutes.

Art Bjork appeared on behalf of Clark Sanitary of Ashland. Motion by Sorenson and a second by Michalik to reject their request to dump their garbage in the Washburn Landfill. Motion carried.

Motion by Sorenson and a second by Michalik to use Mr. Sharette for community service at mininal cost to the town. He resides in the Town of Washburn.

Motion by Sorenson and a second by Michalik to adopt resolution to furnish bond with Bayfield County for Town Treasurer in amount of $60,025.00. Motion carried.

Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
