Special Meeting

Special meeting called to order at 1:35 p.m. by Chairman Calvin Schwenzfeier. Order of business to review and set town officials salaries. Gave Town’s Association formula also salaries for town of Bayview, Barksdale, Eileen and Keystone.  Town board recommended $2200.00 for clerk, $1800.00 for assessor, $1200.00 for treasurer, 30 per diem for chairman and 20 per diem for supervisors. Harvey Rowe made motion and second by Bill Slicer that chairman get $30.00 per diem and supervisors $25.00 per diem. Motion carried. Harvey Rowe made motion to set clerks salary at $2000.00 and second by Oscar Flonnes. Motion carried. Motion by Bill Slicer and second by Ed Pajala to set assessor’s salary at $1800.00. Motion carried. Motion by Shirley Haugen and second by Ed Pajala to set treasurer’s salary at $1200.00. Motion carried. Motion by Bill Slicer and second by Anselle Hokanson to adjourn special meeting. Motion carried.
