Regular Board Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Kerry Tetzner, Sandy Raspotnik, Jim Park, Scottie Sandstrom, Mike Harvey, and Wendy Stein.

Meeting notices were posted in the two public places, website, and published in the Daily Press.

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to approve the agenda. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Meeting minutes from December 12, 2023 were read and written copies given to the Board Members. Motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to accept as presented. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Sandy gave Treasurer’s report. All books are balanced. The Clerks and Treasurers computers are mirrored. Property taxes are coming in. December payments were made to Northwoods Tech, Washburn School and Bayfield County. A motion by Jim Park and seconded by Scottie Sandstrom to approve report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

The road Superintendent gave a report. The 2015 plow truck has returned and is fixed. The dozer blade for grader has been put on the wait list. To get a CDL, the learning permit is $30.00 and the driver’s test can be done at the Lake Shore Bus. A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to approve report. Motion carried. All Ayes.

Supervisor Sandstrom provided an update on the Wannebo Road project. Per the board voting last month to change the length of the construction from 2 miles to 1 ½ miles for budgeting purposes, WisDOT has acknowledged and approved the change, and the designer of the project, Derrick Bacha has changed the length of the project to be reflected in his final design for the project due in early February. Again, depending on how the bid for the project comes out this spring, the board may choose to pave more than 1 ½ miles if the budget allows.

Supervisor Park will check on UDC inspection options to provide an update next month.

A motion by Jim Park and a second by Scottie Sandstrom to replace the windshield on the 2015 plow truck for around $1,800.00. The cost includes the cost of the windshield to be ordered by Mike, plus installation to be done at Schraufnagel Glass. Motion carried. All Ayes

A motion by Scottie Sandstrom and a second by Jim Park to pay all current bills. Motion carried. All Ayes.
