FEBRUARY 8, 1990

Meeting called to order at 7:05 P.M. Present: Bade,  Retzloff, Haugen, Chapman and Tetzner. Leland Harvey and Alonzo Harvey also present. Minutes of January 4th were read. There being no additions or corrections it was moved and 2nd they be accepted as read. Motion carried,

Discussed road sand and salt supply. Will play it by ear.

Signed personal policies. Each Board Member, Clerk and two employees received one.

Discussed equipment service needs with two town employees. Set up a schedule for preventive maintenance.

Russ Fisch and Jim Solberg of Wilhelm Engineering appeared with Tom Cogger concerning landfill closing plan.

They presented plans for pond on town “40” borrow site for clay for landfill capping. Size, depth, water depth, gate access for fire trucks filling up etc. were items discussed.

Steve Bade reported on meeting with U.S. Forest Service concerning Federal Forest Roads, ATV and snowmobile trails located in Federal Forest. He also reported on meeting with Ron Bartholenew concerning town support to relocate the snowmobile trail north of County C and across 4 Mile Creek. Motion by Retzloff 2nd by Haugen to support this project. Letter on file. Motion carried.

Discussed response to newsletter sent out. Steve Bade presented two letters received.

Steve Bade reported on talking to Verna Flonnes about a stray dog. Motion by Haugen 2nd by Retzloff to have Chairman contact Verna Flonnes and offer $1000 for an acre of land contingent on annual meeting approval. Motion carried.

Motion and 2nd to pay all current town bills.
