FEBRUARY 11, 1997

Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Mihalek. Present Mihalek, Miller, Carlson, Tetzner and Chapman. Also Jim Hedricks of Ison, Shane Wyzlic, John Warren, Bill Mihalek, Liz Sockness and Leland Harvey.

Meeting notices were properly posted in the Daily Press and three public places in the Town.

Minutes of January 14, 1997 were read and written copies given to Board Members. Motion by Miller and a second by Carlson to accept. Motion carried.

Discussed Treasurer’s report. One problem was overpayment of escrow accounts and how to return this money. Motion by Miller and a second by Carlson to accept report. Motion carried.

Discussed brightness of radio tower lights. John Warren of the radio station reported on this problem and what was being done to correct it. This is in response to several citizen complaints. Mr. Warren will get back to us with solutions.

Ken Carlson reported on dogs running loose and chasing deer. Town will run notice in Press.

Jim Hedricks of Ison Equipment presented a quote on a new John Deere 772 BH Grader. He went through the options and price with trading our 1975 JD 770.

Motion by Miller and a second by Carlson to have a Special Town meeting on March 4, 1997 at 7:00 P.M. to consider purchase of a new grader. Motion carried,

Reviewed Town crew report with Leland Harvey. Ken Carlson and Leland Harvey left the meeting.

Motion by Mihalek and a second by Miller to accept and adopt new Personnel Policy dated 2-11-97. Motion carried.

Motion and a second to pay all current Town bills.

Motion and a second to adjourn.
