The Town of Washburn is requesting bids for  ¾ inch crushed road gravel from the Highbridge Pit or comparable to be  spread on Forest Road 251, going east beginning at FR 236.The gravel will be spread 1.5 inches thick, 20 feet wide. Please bid by the ton. The project funding is based upon a grant for $100,000, the distance for the gravel will be determined to stay within the funding available.  Mail or deliver bids in a sealed envelope marked “gravel” to Lance Twombly, Town Clerk, PO Box 216, Washburn, WI 54891. Bids must be received prior to 4:00 p.m. on June 10, 2024. Bids will be opened at the monthly meeting on June 11, 2024 after 7:00 p.m. For more information call Mike Harvey at 715-292-4505.
