The Federal Revenue Sharing meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. Present were, Pajala, Badura, Casey, Tetzner, and Slusser. Also present Glen Cook.
Motion and a second to dispense with minutes.
Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to transfer $3,607.88 to the Highway fund to pay for equipment radios. Motion carried. Revenue Sharing meeting adjourned.
Budget hearing called to order at 8:05 P.M. Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to adopt a budget of $112,651.00 in the Highway fund and $25,950.00 in the General fund. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to adjourn Budget Hearing. Motion carried.
Clen Cook appeared concerning snowplowing on his road (Hovey Lane). Also brushing trees for Schwenzfeiers and road building on the corner.
Mike Caswell a City of Washburn resident on Wannebo Road, appeared requesting plowing of his driveway, as the town plows the Wannebo for City of Washburn. The board will consider it.
Jim Hedricks of Ison Equipment appeared concerning a special price on a new John Deere 544C loader. No action.
Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to adopt a resolution regarding a cooperation agreement for the CDBG small cities emergency assistance program. Motion carried.
Motion by Casey and second by Badura to pass a resolution concerning a joint bid to drill wells for sanitary landfill. Motion carried.
Motion by Pajala and a second by Badura to pass a resolution to furnish bond for Town Treasurer as required under Section 70.67 (2) of Wisconsin Statutes. Motion carried.

Meeting called to order at 7:35 P.M. by chairman Pajala. Present were, Pajala, Casey, Badura, Slusser and Tetzner.
Discussed full disclosure tax statements.
Minutes of October 2. 1985 and October 10, 1985 were read. There being no additions or corrections they were approved as read.
Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to invest $52,436.05 wherever Treasurer can get best interest rate for a 12 month period. Motion carried.
Motion and a second to pay all current town bills.

Special meeting called to order at 7:15 P.M. by chairman Pajala. Present were, Pajala, Casey, Badura, Slusser, and Tetzner.
Discussed truck purchase and method to pay for it.
Motion by Pajala and a second by Badura to approve flood damage aid petitions #1 through #38. Motion carried.
Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to pay $20,000.00 on 1986 truck, on the $21,113.00 due. Balance to be paid on inspection and approval of truck. Motion carried.
Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to borrow $20,000.00 at 7% on unpaid balance from Union National Bank to pay for truck. Motion carried.

Meeting called to order at 7:45 P.M. by chairman Pajala. Present were, Pajala, Casey, Badura, Slusser, Tetzner, Leland and Alonzo Harvey.
Minutes of September 5, 1985 were read. There being no additions or corrections there was a motion and a second that they be accepted as read.
Discussed September 2, 1985 storm damage and filing reports to get possible state aids.
Discussed the new truck delivery in the near future, and how to pay for it.
Motion and a second to have a special meeting on October 10, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. to approve flood damage claims and approve payment of new truck. Motion carried.
Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to approve a motion as drawn by Gary E. Sherman, attorney, concerning a contract between Philip E. Tetzner and Town of Washburn to hire Philip E. Tetzner to reassess the Town of Washburn for $2500.00. Motion carried unanimously. Copy on file.

Minutes of August 1, 1985 were read . There being no additions or corrections they were accepted as read.
Liz Sockness appeared concerning 3-wheeler traffic on their road (North side of Maple Hill Drive). Driving too fast and carelessly. They are home self employed and all the noise bothers them. Would like the town to try to help. No action.
Discussed road damage from September 2, 1985 storm.
Reported Assessment Practice Review to Board.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by chairman Pajala. Present were, Pajala, Casey, Badura, Tetzner, Slusser, and Tom Cogger.
Minutes of July 9, 1985 were read. There being no additions or corrections they were accepted as read.
Tom Cogger appeared concerning washing out of culvert fill and wanted to see if traffic could be slowed up on Hokanson Road and Maple Hill Drive.
Discussed complaints on road gravel hauled on private driveways. No action.
Discussed new truck boxes. Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to purchase Heil box with 1/4 inch instead of 10 gauge deck at a cost of $6,190.00 per adjusted quotation from Arrowhead. Motion carried.
Discussed communication equipment for Town vehicles. Motion by Casey and a second by Pajala to purchase General Electric equipment from Jayen Eectronics Inc. for approximately $3400.00. Motion carried.
Discussed Ondossagon committee appointments. Received applications from Beverly Tetzner and Leon Gilbert. Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to appoint Beverly Tetzner as facility study comnittee member. Motion carried.

Meeting called to order at 7:45 P.M. by chairman Pajala . Present were, Pajala, Casey, Badura, Tetzner, Slusser, Alonzo Harvey and Leland Harvey.
Minutes of June 4, 1985 were read. There being no additions or corrections they were accepted as read.
Discussed employee benefits and wages. Motion by Badura to increase wages of Alonzo and Leland Harvey .30¢ an hour. No second. Motion by Casey and a second by Pajala to increase wages .30¢ an hour and increase sick days to 75. Badura – No. Casey – Yes. Pajala – Yes. Motion carried. Retroactive from April 1, 1985.
Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to approve a deluxe Bostrom west coast seat ($125.00) and a block heater ($183.00) at a total extra cost of $308.00 on the new 1986 Ford truck. Motion carried.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by chairman Pajala. Present were, Casey, Badura, Tetzner, and Slusser. Minutes of May 2, 1985 were read. There being no additions or corrections, a motion by Casey and a second by Badura that they be accepted as read was made. Motion carried. Discussed truck bids and specifications.
Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to grant Signa Groves of C-Side Inn a combination Class beer and liquor license, and cigarette license. Motion carried.
Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to purchase a 1986 Ford LN8OOO from Darwin Ford per specs. with the following options: 1. 1100 x 22.5 tires traction rear 2. Spicer close ratio transmission 3. Hobbs hour meter 4. Stemco Hubs 5. One spare wheel 6. Remote Lube fitting for throwout bearing 7. To trade in our 1979 Ford at a gross price of $27,686.00 less trade in of $6,698.00. Balance $20,988.00. Motion carried.
Motion by Casey and a second by Badura to have an ambulance agreement with the City of Washburn from July 1, 1985 to July 1, 1986 at a cost of $1500.00. Motion carried.
Motion by Badura and a second by Casey to furnish bond of $10,000.00 for Treasurer and to furnish bond of $10,000.00 for Clerk for a two year term from the Laub Group. Motion carried.
Discussed paper mill waste on town roads. Decided to get at least two loads for parts of McKinley, Nevers, River Road, and Maple Hill Road by houses.

Motion and a second to adjourn. Next regular meeting to be held Tuesday, July 9, 1985.

Special Town meeting called to order at 7:40 P.M. by chairman Pajala. Present were, Robert Grupstra, Larry Badura, Jeff Casey, Philip E. Tetzner, Faye Slusser, Alonzo Harvey, Laura Harvey, Shirley Haugen, and Edward Pajala. Purpose of meeting to consider purchase of new Town truck. Discussed bids received. Discussed keeping or trading the old 1979 truck. Motion by Shirley Haugen to purchase a new Town truck. Second by Laura Harvey. Motion carried.
Motion to keep old Town truck by Alonzo Harvey and a second by Laura Harvey. Motion lost. Discussed radios for Town equipment. Motion by Faye Slusser and a second by Bob Grupstra to spend about $3500.00 for radio equipment for Town vehicles. Motion carried.
Ed Pajala read a letter from Gary Sherman, attorney concerning the landfill, littering on town roads, and assessor contract. These were answers to questions asked at the regular annual meeting.
